AmeriCorps Seniors MLK Day Celebration : "Beloved Community"
Rocky's AmeriCorps Seniors invites you to join us on Thursday, January 13 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm to celebrate MLK’s legacy and promote his idea of the “beloved community”.
The “beloved community” is one in which everyone is cared for, absent of poverty, hunger, and hate. The King Center’s theme for 2022 is “It Starts With Me”. AmeriCorps Seniors want to serve our community in promoting this theme. There will be a short program featuring HARRT (Helena Afghan Refugee Resettlement Team) from 4:00-4:30pm followed by an open house hour to visit, participate in a collaborative art project, and enjoy some refreshments.
