Scott & Rachel’s Journey to Homeownership completed on December 16, 2024!
After renting their beloved home in Central Helena for six years, Scott and Rachel faced an exciting opportunity to purchase it—but they didn’t know where to begin. Unsure of the home-buying process, they enrolled in Rocky Mountain Development Council’s (Rocky's) Homebuyer Education (HBE) Class.
Through the class, they gained a clear understanding of budgeting, loan options, and down payment assistance programs. With the guidance of Beverly Dashnaw, they secured an FHA loan and chose their lender, Corey at Synergy1, and insurance agent, Taylor from Goosehead Insurance, directly from the class.
Thanks to the support they received, Scott and Rachel were able to purchase the home they had been renting and start building their future as homeowners. They’re now enrolled in Rocky's Matched Savings Program to continue investing in their future.
