Rocky Mountain Preschool Center
“Where Rainbows Grow”
Rocky Mountain Preschool Center is an all-day year
-round early childhood program that provides a quality, affordable preschool experience to children ages 2 to 6 years.
Our Philosophy:Â
For you and your child, childcare is a critical extension of your family.  Rocky Mountain Preschool Center offers a quality environment that incorporates your child’s uniqueness into our classrooms. Our belief is that in a sound learning atmosphere, your child will develop a true sense of his or her identity.
Our Staff:Â
Our professional staff includes a program manager, two lead teachers, and four teacher assistants.  Additionally, four Foster Grandparents provide love and care to Preschool children. Hence, we assure a high degree of individual attention. All of our teachers and assistants are certified in CPR/first aid and annually attend workshops and classes to stay current in the early childhood profession.
Our Teaching Model:Â
Our teaching methods are based on the Center on the Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning pyramid model. You’ll find more information about this model at csefel.vanderbilt.edu.
Our Curriculum:Â
Our curriculum is guided by the children’s interests, abilities and needs. Teachers develop their lesson plans based on those interests. We incorporate kindergarten readiness skills into our daily program.
