ABOUT RMDC

WHAT ARE YOU? A GOVERNMENT AGENCY;

A NON-PROFIT; OR WHAT?

We are a nonprofit Human Resource Development Council, also referred to as a Community Action Agency (CAA). In an IRS framework, we are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation. We are not a government agency, though we are well positioned to apply for and use public grant dollars and match those with private funding.

What programs do you administer?

RMDC administers a wide range of programs, most all of which address poverty or isolation. In its 50 year history, RMDC has included other programs that ultimately became independent or separate. Helping to launch or foster new programs is a part of our mission. At the moment, we include these programs.
