Energy Share

Energy Share will stop accepting applications on May 10th and will resume again on 09/24/13.

Energy Share of Montana is a private, nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to help Montanans faced with energy emergencies meet their needs and move towards self-reliance. RMDC partners with Energy Share and works to find the best combination of assistance for families and individuals in need.

The primary way that Energy Share helps individuals and families is by paying heating bills. Families who live paycheck-to-paycheck often face some type of financial emergency when an unexpected expense occurs, such as a vehicle breaking down, loss of employment, or medical expenses.

Energy Share helps people with their heating bills through a one-time bill assistance or lifetime maximum of $700.
