Frequently Asked Questions

What are you? A government agency; a nonprofit; or what?

We are a nonprofit human resources community action organization. In an IRS framework, we are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation. We are not a government agency, though we are well positioned to apply for and use public grant dollars and match those with private funding.
